Practice and Employment:
Nicholas P. Vontzalides has been a partner at the law firm of Ankeles, Bonfanti, Vontzalides & Ambeliotis, LLP since February 1, 1999. During Mr. Vontzalides’ early years of his legal career he concentrated his practice as a trial lawyer with an emphasis in civil litigation, plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, and family law. Mr. Vontzalides tried many jury cases both in the Superior and District Courts of Massachusetts.
In addition, Mr. Vontzalides concentrates his practice in estate planning and elder law. This area of the law involves preparing estate plan documents to arrange for the orderly disposition of property at death or incapacity and to minimize and/or eliminate U.S. and Massachusetts estate taxes. Mr. Vontzalides also concentrates his practice in serving the elderly by assisting them in preparing a Medicaid plan to preserve assets for their heirs and in applying for Medicaid assistance.
Mr. Vontzalides also practices extensively in probate courts in Eastern Massachusetts in matters involving probate proceedings, guardianships, and estate litigation including will contests.
